I &#039;ve been looking for a travel bag for my dslr and netbook and this could do nicely.   
Just curious... what size is that Timbuk2?  The S,M,L look to be all the same depths though so I could even get the small.  

The inserts probably don&#039;t fit as well as your handmade jobby.  I might just have to buckle down and make one myself as I would want padding on the bottom.  The Domke inserts don&#039;t have padding on the bottom and I&#039;m pretty sure the Billingham inserts don&#039;t have a base at all.
